Fastest Ways to Speed Up Your Metabolism

If you have given up hope regarding your diet plan, don’t quit up just yet. I am about to provide you with very effective ways to boost metabolism quickly and I have compiled a “Quick-Pick” list just for you to get maximum results. You have nothing to lose so let’s get going!

Let’s take a look at my List of the BEST Ways to boost your Metabolism quickly!

    1. Consume lots of water.

I’m not saying it is required to drink a certain amount of water everyday, like the typical 8 glasses you hear about. However you must drink water whenever you are thirsty (and don’t wait until you’re mouth is dry). Just drink until you’re not thirsty anymore. Everyone is different so just adjust your intake accordingly.

What the water does is not only cleanse your system and rejuvenate your cells but it can actually decrease water retention. When your body isn’t receiving enough water, it holds onto everything it’s got for survival. But when it’s getting an ample water supply, it releases the retained water because it no longer has a need for it. Ironic how that works, huh?

    2. DON’T skip your breakfast meal! I repeat DON’T SKIP YOUR BREAKFAST MEAL!

By eating a healthy breakfast you will jump-start your metabolism by waking it up from “starvation mode”. While you sleep, you body’s rate of metabolism slows GREATLY because you don’t exert that much energy while resting. (Does it click now why they say don’t eat big meals before bed?) Your body spends the night doing everything else but digestion so it’s your job to refuel and recharge your rested body as soon as you wake up. Do this and you will be sure to boost your metabolism fast!

Despite what some nutritionists say, eggs are actually a very good breakfast item. You can create an omelet with your favorite vegetables, a small amount of cheese or possibly some ham or sausage. The protein from the eggs will keep you satiated and energized throughout the morning. Accompany that with some freshly squeezed orange juice and you’ll be ready to take on anything that comes your way! If you loaded up on sugary cereals or processed breakfast foods, you are likely to feel sluggish and hungry all morning.

    3. Eat Small Meals and Eat Them Often.

It usually your stomach takes about 3 hours to completely digest the food you just ate so your goal should be to eat a small healthy meal (or snack) every 3 hours or so – BEFORE you get start to get hungry again. By doing this your body stay be more nourished and you will not experience those strong hunger pangs.

This works the same as the water process. If you’re starving yourself, your body will hold onto all it can to survive. If you continue to give it the necessary vitamins and minerals with the right foods, you will turn your body into a fat burning machine and boost metabolism fast!

The most beneficial foods consist of “negative calorie foods” such as fruits and vegetables in their natural states. Another great snack idea that would surely satisfy a sweet and salty craving would be some celery sticks decorated with your favorite chunky peanut butter and colorful dried cranberries. Creating a fresh fruit smoothie would not only satisfy your thirst on a hot day but also give you energy AND raise your metabolic rate!

How to Get a Flat Stomach Fast

    July 31st, 2008
    by Alexa Bjorkin

Tired of all those extra pounds hanging around your waste? Annoyed by the way your clothes are fitting just a little too tight? Tired of your belly that always seems to get in your way? I know I was for sure! That’s why I decided to do some research and found out how to flatten my stomach fast – and the results were impressive! Let me tell you all about it

First of all I knew I needed to boost my metabolism so that it could properly process the meals I consumed. I started eating healthier like more fresh fruits and vegetables. I really got into healthy salads and fruit smoothies instead of devouring all those unhealthy processed foods that are high in sugar and other undesirable additives.

I saved the carbohydrates for the earlier part of the day so that by the time I was ready to go to bed, I had burned all that stuff off. It is important to time when you consume your higher-carb foods because you want to use them for energy, not storage. By the way, I do mean “good” carbs like whole wheat breads, grains, and pastas.

If I happened to get a sweet-tooth kicked at night, I’d snack on a handful of cherries or an apple. Those types of foods have high water content and digest better. They also move through your body without being stored as fat.

I ate more “healthy” fats like cottage cheese, nuts, salmon because I learned that our body’s still need fats to run efficiently. Plus, they filled me up and gave me energy.

Just by changing my diet (not that I was on a “diet” per se) but by changing the foods I ate and when I ate them was when I first started to see how to get a flat stomach fast.

I also became more active in general. For example, I started using the stairs instead of taking the elevator or riding the escalator. I started carrying more bags of groceries to my upper-level apartment. I walked a lot more and even got into rollerblading over a hilly terrain. I started to dance more and even practiced a little dancing at home. I would try to do anything I could do to get my heart rate going a bit faster. I was certain that would help me achieve a flatter tummy.

Another very important thing I learned getting a flatter tummy fast was to just keep persisting! It did not develop overnight so it may take a while to get rid of it. I knew if I made these changes and committed myself, I could make adapt them as part of my new lifestyle. I do not want to ever return to how I looked before. I darn sure did not work this hard for that to happen. I want to keep my physique for the rest of my life. Although it did happen rather fast, I still remember how much work it took to get my belly flat.

As I pass my story along to you, I hope you make the best of it. You can change anything you want; it’s all in your mind. Now go get your flat stomach, fast!
